Q: I have bought an additional memory module for my mac mini from the AppleStore UK, but I had to return to Greece urgently for business and I have the module with me. May I arrange that my mac mini gets upgraded here in Greece?
A: Sorry, this is not possible. You had to buy the memory module from Greece so that it could be installed for you.

Q: I just saw in AppleStore UK that the black 2.0Ghz Intel MacBook is “ready to ship: in 4 days”; also it is “free shipping”. I wonder if I can buy it from the Greek -kind of- AppleStore? Has it got the same availability?
A: I’m sorry but there is no availability statement on any product, and of course, no such thing as “free shipping”!

Q: Recently I have heard about MacBook Pro “Worldwide Battery Exchange Program”. My battery matches the requirements so it needs to be exchanged. Could I do it in Greece the same way?
A: Sorry, this is not possible. You have to send your battery first along with some documents and a fee, wait few weeks without the battery until your application approved and then the new battery will sent to you. I know, I know: you have to make it “MacBook Pro Desktop” until then!

Q: I saw in Applestore Ireland that “Engraving your iPod is easy and it’s free”. Can I do the same in Greece and for free?
A: Sorry, this is not possible. No engraving can be made on iPods bought in Greece!

Q: Could I have with my new Macintosh, the “Apple Care Protection Plan”? Could I also extend the guarantee up to 3 years in total?
A: Sorry, this is not possible. Apple Care does not even exist in Greece nor even any other equal support service plan!

Q: I heard that in Athens there is an AppleStore! May I visit it and make my purchases from this store?
A: Sorry, this is not possible. First you have to supply specific documents, then wait until you get the approval and then it will be possible to buy ...but only online!

Q: Macintosh users in other European countries have the possibility of using the Mac Os X localized in their maternal language. Do I have this possibility also in Greece but without extra fee?
A: Sorry, this is not possible. You have to pay for this and for each and every mac you buy!

Q: I am a student and I want to buy an iMac. If I buy it from Greece, do I have the student discount that is offered in Europe? A: Sorry, this is not possible. There are no education discounts for Macs in Greece.
