We have found several interesting information mostly on iPhone but also on TV.
First of all, despite the early of the thing, it seems that the war has already begun between European big mobile phone operators concerning the exclusive rights to the new “must-have” handset.
“Telefonica, O2’s Spanish owner, is understood to have held preliminary talks with Steve Jobs, Apple’s chief executive, about a potential tie-up in Britain and Europe.” claims Elizabeth Judge of Times.
Also Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile have begun talks and are all described as competing to distribute Apple’s expected offer for iPhone exclusively to only one network operator when it launches in the UK.
But it is obviously that Apple’s authorized resellers will not be allowed to sell the new iPhone, and reportedly must meet certain qualifications to display and sell the Apple TV product as well, reported to a comment at ifoAppleStore’s “Stores Part of iPhone Sales Plan” entry. It is “another case of where Apple is working hard to put resellers out of business” Joe Weingarten points at the same comment.
