“I am a Mac user since 20 years and just couldn’t get the gear I needed when I needed it from the awful Greek rep. So I bought from Germany- faster, cheaper, with excellent support.
The existing Greek distribution system couldn’t be further away from what Apple stands for.
Basically you don’t want to have anything to do with those people and it’s only due to the passion for Apple that we do everything to purchase your phantastic products no matter how difficult it might be.
An actual story: A student from our school is trying to buy a powerbook for 11 weeks now. NO configurations possible. The importer even told the guy: You have to take or leave whatever Apple sends us, and we will see what it is.
Apart from leaving a big business potential dead in the ground, which means loss of profit and reputation for you - what bothers me most is the ethical aspect. Apple should be represented by the best.
