Ειναι τελειως “αστεια” η Vodafone , παρα τις αφισες , τις ανακοινωσεις κλπ. σε ερωτηση μου χθες το απογευμα στο καταστημα Vodafone της Αγιου Αλεξανδρου στο Παλαιο Φαληρο η απαντηση που πηρα ηταν ...."Δεν εχουμε ενημερωση δεν ξερουμε ποτε θα κυκλοφορησει” ... Γιατι παιδια ? γιατι τα ψεμματα ? φοβαστε μην σας ματιασουμε ?  γιαυτο κι εμεις θα προτιμησουμε για μια ακομα φορα τις “underground” μεθοδους και δεν θα τα παρετε απο τα καινουρια συμβολαια σας ... Περαστικα (εχω το 3g απο αμερικη εδω και 1 μηνα)

Vodafone stores introduce NEW priority list!
Yesterday evening (21/08/08) I went into a Vodafone store in central Thessaloniki to inquire about the new iphone, they took my number and promised to let me know as soon as they get their first iphones! This morning I started calling local stores in Thessaloniki in order to find if the had iphones for sale, eventually I found a store in Vas Olgas claiming they did! Secretly I managed to sneak off work drove there, upon arrival I was asked if I have been notified by SMS to go to that particular store to pick my new iphone, I told them that I was notified by email yesterday as I had signed their online form, the 1st day it was online, but on the email there was no mention of store just notification of the iphone arrival. They told me how sorry they were but they were keeping a strict priority order based on the reservation list (different for each store as they explained to me). I was puzzled and annoyed and expressed that to them as there was no such information on their site about the existence of per store list! I additionally told them that I visited another Vodafone store the previous day and I wasn’t informed about the existence of such a list, on that point they went on to clarify me that this list was only introduced this morning!!!!!! (Something that was later verified when the store I visited the previous day called me to let me know that there was a priority list that I should apply for!) Obviously me arriving at the store around 11am wasn’t early enough to get me high on the stores list as they told me I was a bit over number 200!!!
Now let me express my own opinion! I’m against this whole waiting for 2 days outside the store to get your new iphone (or what ever else you might be waiting for) and this whole priority list does sound like a civilised way of spreading goods! But if you are to keep a priority list let people know in advance...I mean for all I know I was on a priority list expressing my interest online the very first day this started! And as far as I remember I was assured at the time that this list was in order to get the iphone first (that’s a sort of priority I guess) even posted to me! So can someone not feel frustrated! On one hand I can say ok Greece is still a primitive country when it comes to online processes so I guess the introduction of this per store priority list is a way of addressing this issue but on the other hand the iphone is not addresses to the majority of the population but is definitely more oriented to IT literate people who are able to follow online processes as that! Plus the point is that the people who really wanted the iphone were also bothered to read forums and threads everyday and fill in forms way in advance so this new priority lists are just unfair towards the people who showed such big interest! 
Finally some good news is that the people in the store told me that they have been informed that the double data offer will last till the end of the year! (ok i don’t trust them but it’s a nice thought!)
